Rib Hillis is in his second season on "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," and not new to the ABC family. Rib first got his start on the ABC soap opera "Port Charles" and has since appeared in dozens of television shows, such as "Ugly Betty," "CSI", "CSI: Miami" as well as a starring role in the feature film "Propiedad Ajena". In addition, Hillis has been featured on AOL’s Minute Fixes giving homeowners quick and easy solutions, "Model Citizen" and "Get a Grip," home improvement shows giving him the chance to combine his ease in front of the camera with his joy in working with his hands. |

Vern’s career took off as the most popular designer on the hit home makeover show "Trading Spaces" that was one of those cultural phenomena on TLC Network with a huge wave to record ratings and attention. His most recent projects include his return as a judge on the exciting second season of HGTV Design Star, in which he'll help discover America's next great design talent. In addition, he stars in his own HGTV show, Deserving Design. Also in the works is his new home product line with a nationally well-known company. Whatever he does, his award-winning work has a distinct flair that reflects his expertise as both an architectural and interior designer.

Meet the Plant Doctor, Melinda Myers, Host of “Melinda’s Garden Moments” seen on KPTM, PBS’s “Great Lakes Gardener”, and Author of “Month by Month Gardening in Nebraska” Book on Thursday
Melinda Myers, best known for her gardener friendly and practical approach to gardening, She hosts PBS television’s, "Great Lakes Gardener", seen throughout the U.S. She hosts the "Melinda's Garden Moments" TV segments, which air on network television stations, including on KPTM-TV in Omaha. Additionally, she hosted “The Plant Doctor” radio program for over 20 years. She recently published the Month by Month Gardening in Nebraska Book.
Melinda has more than 25 years of horticulture experience with a master’s degree in horticulture as well as a certified arborist. She has written 20 books, including Can’t Miss Small Space Gardening, the Birds & Blooms’ Ultimate Gardening Guide, and Jackson and Perkins’ Beautiful Roses Made Easy: Midwestern Edition. She writes the twice monthly “Gardeners’ Questions” newspaper column and is a contributing editor and columnist for Birds & Blooms and Backyard.

Meet National Garden Association’s, Charlie Nardozzi, Co-Author of several “Gardening For Dummies” Books and former host of PBS’s “Garden Smart” on Saturday & Sunday
Charlie Nardozzi has been bringing expert gardening information to home gardeners through radio, television, and the printed word for 20 years. He delights in making gardening information simple, fun, and accessible to everyone. He's the former host of Garden Smart on PBS-TV; has been a guest expert on shows on HGTV, DIY, and the Discovery Channel. For 12 years he was an editor with National Gardening magazine, writing stories on a variety of gardening topics from roses to tomatoes. He has written for national magazines such as Organic Gardening and contributed to many of the Gardening for Dummies titles, authoring Vegetable Gardening For Dummies in 1999. He also contributed to other book projects such as 7 in 1 Gardening for Dummies and the Better Homes and Gardens' Yard and Garden Owner's Manual.
