The 20th Annual Fall Home & Garden Expo is a showcase of over 100,000 square feet of the latest products and services available for the Home – Inside & Out! The Show will have hundreds of displays throughout the Show presenting energy efficiency as well as eco-friendly products and services.

What ‘s New?
The 2008 Fall Home & Garden Expo will Feature a GREEN PAVILLION at this year’s Show. This dedicated area at the Show will highlight Eco-Friendly products, services and ideas that help conserve, recycle and be more Eco-friendly. Join the City of Omaha Recycling Department, Keep Omaha Beautiful and other experts sharing how you can be involved and this unique opportunity to discuss ways your products and services can improve the home and help the environment.

In addition, The Fall Home & Garden Expo will be your opportunity to see a demonstration in this year’s NARI Room Design Gallery featuring compact fluorescent bulbs which use two-thirds less energy and last 10 times longer than standard incandescent bulbs.

Energy Solutions Specialist, Garry Ruliffson of OPPD’s Sustainable Energy and Environment Stewardship Division, will present:

About the Speaker:

Garry Ruliffson is the Energy Solutions Specialist for Omaha Public Power District. He has 28 years of experience in the electric utility business; working in the field of energy related issues pertaining to residential, commercial, and small industrial market segments. His current focus for OPPD is in the area of teaching the wise use of energy to the residential customer.

Garry has an Associates Degree in Architectural / Engineering, is a Certified Energy Manager, a Certified Home Energy Rater and is a member of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE).
