“Shrubs in Color”; Addie Kinghorn, Metro Community College. Addie focuses on flower color, fruits and leaf coloration of some favorite shrubs, spring through fall.

“EarthKind Roses”; Joann Langabee, President, Omaha Rose Society. Learn about disease and insect-resistant roses that are beautiful and a great addition to the landscape.

“Moles and Gophers in the Lawn”; Dennis Ferraro, UNL Extension Associate Professor. Moles and gophers can be destructive to lawns. Find out what products do and do not work for controlling these critters.

“The Heirloom Gloxinias Plant - Now Grows Double”; Steve Hall, Logan Nursery. Known as Mr. Gloxinias, Steve will share information regarding the new double flowering Gloxinias that he has developed over the last 10 years. These Double flowers are large 4 1/2" flowers and stems that don't droop on huge bushy plants. Besides Doubles, they do have a collection of very premium Singles and are continuously hybridizing new varieties. You will want to try to keep up with the entire collection and the new ones coming on.

“Jefferson Square Community Garden”; Roger Flannery, Master Gardener. Holy Family Catholic Church created this inner-city garden to provide respite and outreach to the residents of the area. Find out how this garden has become a success, their goals to teach children about gardening, and their future plans for the site.
