2007 Cletus Fischer Native Son Award Winner
(The Native Son is selected by the Coaches for the player who best exemplifies good work ethic, competitiveness, leadership, forthrightness, sense of humor, pride, loyalty and love of Nebraska.)
Ben Eisenhart, #46 a native of Culbertson, Neb.
Eisenhart has been a special teams standout throughout his Nebraska career, and played an increased role in the secondary this fall. Originally a walk-on, Eisenhart earned a scholarship in 2006. He finished his senior season with 41 tackles.

2007 NOVAK TROPHY WINNER
(The Tom Novak trophy was established in 1950 and is presented to the Senior who “best exemplifies courage and determination despite all odds in the manner of Nebraska All-American center Tom Novak.)
Cortney Grixby #2 Cornerback, Omaha, Neb.
The 5-9, 170-pound Grixby was a three-year starter and two-time honorable-mention All-Big 12 selection who finished sixth in school history with 32 career pass breakups.

2007 GUY CHAMBERLIN TROPHY WINNER
(The Guy Chamberlin trophy was inaugurated in 1967 in memory of the former UNL All-America football player and is presented to the Senior player who has shown by his play and contributions to the betterment of the University of Nebraska football squad that he has the qualities and dedication of Guy Chamberlin to the great Cornhusker tradition.)
Bo Ruud #51 Linebacker, Lincoln, Neb.
Ruud has been among Nebraska’s top defenders each of the past three years, and finished his senior season with 54 tackles and a pair of interception returns for touchdowns. Ruud’s older brother, Barrett, was the 2004 recipient of the Chamberlin Trophy.
